National telecommunications provider
Challenge: Sales teams needed to integrate automated systems to quickly and consistently produce accurate quotations, contracts, and reports.
Our Solution: We built online and Excel-based tools that generate sales quotations, enhance contract management and automate reporting, and improve how data is imported and handled.
Result: Since their development in 1996, our tools have been used and supported continuously, adapting to new needs as the business evolves.
National telecommunications provider
Challenge: Internal teams needed small programs to move and clean data between systems. Attempts to develop their own programs and prompt AI agents had failed.
Our Solution: Through many rounds of AI-assisted training, development, and testing, we built and delivered working automated tools to clean and transfer data, significantly reducing time wasted on manual processes.
Result: The tool has worked reliably and efficiently since launch. We’ve repeated this approach several times to create additional programs for the same client.
School transportation operator
Challenge: Data documentation between divisions varied substantially in collected data and formatting, with head office manually reconciling documents. Divisions needed a unified approach to data reporting.
Our Solution: We consulted with division leads and standardized their data submission, collection, and reporting processes, connecting every division with head office.
Result: Since its creation in 1998, our model has been used and supported continuously, surviving a change of corporate ownership.
National industry charity
Challenge: Media sales and financial reporting depended on manual steps and spreadsheets that were hard to keep consistent. Teams needed a reporting process that would reduce their workload and error production.
Our Solution: We consulted with team leads and built sales and financial reporting models that automated redundant processes.
Result: Created in 2014, the reporting tool sees monthly use, with continuous support and refinements as the business evolves.
Canadian rights collective
Challenge: The organization’s managed server was down for 26 hours after a failed automated update by its hosting provider. Leadership needed to understand what happened and what level of accountability they could demand from the provider.
Our Solution: We reviewed the root cause, then prepared a structured set of questions for the provider covering leadership’s concerns, service levels, and credits. We followed up with an annual data archive and backup policy, so the organization is better protected should their provider fail them again.
Result: Clear, documented recording and investigations enabled the client to hold their provider accountable and employ a backup policy that they access daily.
Film and video production studio
Challenge: A production studio needed senior technology leadership to manage and build its technology infrastructure in a new facility, without the hassle of building a large internal IT team.
Our Solution: Our fractional leadership services marked Tony Baptista as the studio’s Vice President of Technology from 2018 to 2020, responsible on-call and on-site for all technology needs and infrastructure development.
Result: We transformed the dormant 80,000-square-foot former manufacturing facility into a full-service production studio. Tony led the rebuild of all networks and technology infrastructure across the studio’s two locations. Tony assisted in their transition out of the studio once production ended.
